POEMS

MLK Jr.

I am Martin Luther King Jr
I wonder, why do we need to use violence?
I hear my people damanding their freedom
I see inequality for us
I am the voice of a new era
I pretend to integrate in the American society
I feel that we are people who can use reason
I touch the land of injustice, not freedom
I worry for all americans, not just my race
I cry for non-use of reason in white man
I am American
I understand that is not easy to resist people's racism
I say not to violence
I dream in a new time of equality
I try to be in the land of liberty and justice for all.
I hope one day racism is not going to exist
I am Martin Luther King Jr.

Malcom X

I am Malcom X
I wonder if this is our destiny
I hear people that protest for rights
I am Malcom X
I pretend to have the same rights as a white man
I feel that we were born with equal rights
I touch my people and I'm worried
I worry for the future of the country
I cry when whites discriminate our color
I am an example of inequality
I understand that violence is not the correct way to do something, but
I say defend yourself and have a dream
I dream a land where racism does not exist
I try to fight for what  I want
I hope this is going to be succcesful
I am  American

Civil Rights Poem

Civil Rights, an act to be free
when all around segregation we see
Disrespect, no justice all the time
Segregation, a worldly crime
Segregation towards groups of people at most
Pain and disrespect from coast to coast
killing just because of the colour of skin
Killing and killing the ultimate sin.
All people are equal someone once said
but now the so called equals have fled
if all of us are equal then why do we fight
beating and disrespect all through the day and night
They don`t deserve it what have they done
we fight them and think we have won
let`s stop the death, the disrespect, it all
for if we don`t this world surly will fall.
